Nicole Mangione
Nicole Mangione is currently a music therapy intern at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, where she witnesses firsthand the significant impact of music therapy on pediatric patients and their families. Through music-based interventions, Nicole observes how music therapy supports pain and symptom management, emotional expression, procedural support, coping with new diagnoses and bereavement situations, compliance with care, achievement of developmental milestones, and positive changes in mood for both the patients and their families. These experiences have equipped Nicole with the skills and passion to provide high-quality, evidenced-based music therapy services to the pediatric population.
Nicole is an energetic, go-getter with a bold and spunky style. She is a singer, musician, actor, and dancer who enjoys taking on new creative projects. She loves performing a variety of musical genres, including jazz, indie, pop, rock, and musical theatre, and has experience singing live at a range of private events.
Proudly born and raised on Long Island, NY, Nicole comes from a big Italian family. She enjoys yoga, the beach, painting, and meditating. If she's not doing any of those things, you can be sure she's either playing an instrument or singing her heart out!
